Fall 2018 Programming

Welcome back students to MSU Billings. As you sort out classes, work schedule, and your plans this fall. I hope you consider programs to uplift the spirit and ground your faith. Some of our regular programs are included below but we are open to programs you'd like to see on campus. Feel free to stop by our office at the SUB room 206 to share ideas or stop by our table in the Liberal Arts building and the Student Union to chat!

Bible 101 Tuesdays 4:00 pm @ SUB Bridger room. The approach is to read the Bible as any other sacred text without privileging the text. You can be of any faith tradition or none to participate. The purpose is to critically understand a book that has so impacted us as a nation and affects so many people's lives.

Thursdays 4-5pm @ 2nd floor of SUB Lounge by the Diversity Center

Come in for coffee, join in discussion, learn about other faith traditions and cultures or simply grab some snacks on the way to class.

Social Justice Mondays from 1-4 pm @ the Women and Gender Studies office. Information on issues that students choose will be provided as well as form letters and addresses to our elected officials to make an impact on those issues. Free snacks provided!

Wednesdays 6:30 pm @ SUB Bridger Room Gather for conversation on a religious topic over food. You can be of any faith tradition or none to participate. This fall we'll explore some of the major world religions as we reflect on our own beliefs.
